12:17 am - Is it getting colder? A couple of months ago I blogged about the Autumn Faye outfit by Chaospire and in that blog this is what I said:
I can’t take it off so I think I’ll just have to wear it till winter comes and hope Devyn creates an ice queen outfit to get me through the winter Well I didn't wear it till winter but when I stopped by Chaospire to see if there were any new releases I found the "Frost Fae" outfit and clicked the buy button at the speed of lightning. It has been released a while back and here's a lovely blog about it at Virtual Neko in Second Life but somehow I forgot all about it and didn't buy it before *looks ashamed*

No need to say this is a real winter fae outfit right? It includes wings with a snow particle effect (yes, you can turn it off!), top and bottom on multiple layers, gloves, leggings, and flexi skirt. The outfit is a bit skimpy but you can wear both layers of the top and bottom to make you feel less naked..if you wish :) Winter faeries are immune to cold I think.

05:07 pm - Miss Vaughan

I spent an evening at Bogart's Jazz Club which was a totally new experience for me *grins* Actually I can't remember visiting a club with a dresscode before and I had a feeling I'd be better off leaving my kitty ears and tail at home. Had a great evening though and the hostess even called me Miss Vaughan, now that's another first for me even though I'm a Mrs, technically speaking. Current Mood: amused

12:05 pm - Ok so maybe... Maybe I shouldn't be stubborn and rezz a house on my land. I figured my first house there would be my all new but not yet finished house from Rustica so I refused to use one of my 'old' houses. *sighs* Seems like it's time to put up a temp. home cause this is getting pathetic :P

11:20 am - Magic of Oz frolic Yes, it's a frolic, def. not a hunt *grins evilly*
Truth be told, I still have to unpack most of the hunt items but I wanted to show you these 'treasures' I found when I got me some green candy canes at the Magic of Oz Candy Cane hu..erm..frolic.

Those 2 dresses are called Elphaba and Galinda and they are from 'The Laughing Academy' Yet another store I never heard of before (there seem to be a lot of them, I think I need to shop more) I visited their 2 stores in Magic of Oz and their store in Antiquity Township and they have some amazing victorian attire.

01:03 am - Teagan’s blogger challenge Teagan Blackthorne challenged the bloggers to come up with a look that matches a character from literature.
I thought I'd have a go at it as well so here I am as Susan Sto Helit, a character from the discworld books written by Terry Pratchett (novells, literature..hey..it's from a book ok?):

A little more about Susan:
Susan is a "slightly built young woman"; both Mustrum Ridcully and Terry Pratchett himself have described her as being "attractive in a skinny way". Her hair is pure white, but with a streak of black running through it from end to end. Although its natural state is a frizzy mass reminiscent of a dandelion, it rearranges its style of its own accord depending on Susan's mood; it tends to form a tight bun while she is working. In The Art of Discworld, Paul Kidby draws Susan in Edwardian clothing, which he feels fits well with her job as a nanny in Hogfather.
Susan has a very striking physical presence, which both Lu-Tze and Lobsang Ludd have remarked upon, and despite her relative youth, she projects a sense of great age. In Soul Music, she complains that, as Death's granddaughter, she should have been born with better cheekbones. She also has a Look (always capitalised) which can be rather disconcerting, even to those in authority, such as her grandfather and the headmistress of the school in which she teaches.
